What type of distribution of electrons is there in the d-orbital?

depends on the number of electrons present, does it not?

the orbitals themselves, however, should by symmetrical; they are defined by wavefunctions that extend to the positive and negative regions, or both regions so as to speak.

In terms of parity, d orbitals are gerade (symmetric with respect to inversion).
