« on: December 08, 2004, 02:17:11 AM »
hi.
i need properties information about the copper metal and if possible benzoate ligands.
i also want to know what the electronegativity effect of different halogens give when the bond to the benzoate molecule at the para position.
where can i get this kind of info.
and how does the different halogen effect the IR peaks of the benzoate group.

Might want to look up "linear free energy relationships". I'm not to sure where you can get info specifically on benzoate though.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
