Natron & Alkaline battery
« on: March 30, 2007, 03:26:02 AM »
Hello everybody,
Im quite new to these forums, so if I posted in wrong sections Im really sorry.
But on to my problem;
I stumbled upon 3 tricky questions my chemisty teacher asked me which I havent able
to find any answers for.

1: How can Natron neutralize acid?

2: If you have 2 types of ethanoic acids with different concentration, how can you with the help of natron find out which of
of the 2 ethanoic acids has more concentration/more concentrated?

3: We often use the term alkaline batteries, what does the word alkaline tell about the contents of the battery?

Im still struggling to find answers for these questions, so any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
