Reaction Mechanism

For my Chem II class, I have to suggest a reaction mechanism which would explain how Fe2O3 acts as a catalyst in the decomposition of Potassium Chlorate. Does anyone have an ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

a tip would be that at the end of the reactions, Fe2O3 would have to remain unchanged at the end
one learns best by teaching

Don't know if this is helpful or not.

The fact that Fe2O3 is a solid means that in this case it is acting as a Heterogeneous Catalyst and that implies that the catalysis mechanism is the molecules adsorpt onto the catalytic surface and the chemical bonds weaken and break and reform.
