Ever googled your own name?
« on: October 25, 2006, 03:23:45 PM »
It is amazing how accurate Google is when it comes to an online search for my own name.

The first 3 results actually referred to me.

I think I have a very unique name. Haha..

In my case, it was the source of my problems with that troll on my blog.

First three got me right. The fourth one was some other person with the same name and the rest was all me again, even there are atleast 13 people with the same name. My actual home page wasn't until the 9th place.
Chemists do it periodically on table.

Apparently I was an adventurer, inventor, and entrepreneur that left his mark on history by leaving a legacy of agriculture machinery that culminated with a business merger that launched an icon in heavy machinery.

hmmmm.... I cant find any that are actually to do with me.

My married name, as written on this forum, is pretty much unique. All the google entries that I have seen are me (including those backgammon ones... don't ask...) as long as I put the name in quotation marks. I really wish that I had started a graph of the number of 'hits' with time. When I first googled myself there were like 4.
