Titration and h2o2 concentration
« on: April 26, 2007, 12:51:45 AM »
hey

I'm new to chem an panicing

This should be easy:

my prac was to put 1ml H2SO4 (3% concentration) with 19ml H2O and 10ml of H2O2 (unknown concentration), then titrate KMnO4 until solution went permanent pink.
My average titre was 17.4ml of KMnO4.
From that, how do i work the concentration of the H2O2?

(Just the equation would be a big help)

Browse the forums, it was asked several times already. Oxygen and Mn2+ are the products.
