Engineering:
01. UC Berkeley
02. MIT

05. Imperial College London (Yahoo!)

09. National University of Singapore :o

Science:
01. Cambridge

wow.. there is a strong asian presence in the top10 engineering. I still find it hard to accept that National University of Singapore is so highly acclaimed internationally. Berkely is still the best university in the top world.

How do they actually decide which is best?  I just do not get how top universities can actually be ranked.

Haven't you noticed that Asians are in all the supposed top schools like harvard, yale, princeton, etc..

asians are everywhere. i am an asian. i study at imperial college. there are so many asians here - born in and outside britain. All the UCs are renowned for their high asian population as well. you can't dispute the asians for their good grades, arent u?

They are not Asians they are Americans, although they may have asian ancestry.

It gets confusing over here. California is a very diverse state. There is no racial or ethnic majority here.
