milli something per kilogram, sory dont know what val is. whats the unit from, that might give a clue to its meaning. I think val = value, i.e. milli values per kilogram or milli units per kilogram.

thanks for trying to help me. actually i m translating a specification for polyoil and this type of unit is used to describe its peroxide No. do you have any idea? thanks

AFAIK a Val is a unit used in Germany for equivalent weight. So mVal/kg is a measure of concentration of "equivalents" sort of like Normal (N) is used for acids (I guess) but in grams per kilogram.

mval/kg = meq/Kg
Normally I saw it this concentration unit in: Water Treatment /Water Analysis and Biological Fluids mainly in Medicine...
As wrote allan, is a word used in Germany...
