Bismuth - Bromide complexes
« on: May 23, 2007, 11:30:19 AM »
Hi,

I'm interested in the bismuth - bromide complexes. If anyone has information about it please let me know.

I have a software called MEDUSA that makes diagrams of complexes and ions in solution and it does not show the bromide complexes of bismuth but i know that such complexes really exist.

Thanks for helping me.

Bi3+/Br-

ß1 = 3.06
ß2 = 5.6
ß3 = 7.4
ß4 = 8.6
ß5 = 9.2
ß6 = 8.7

ß6 = [BiBr63-]/([Bi3+][Br-]6)

I have explained what ß6 is at the very bottom of my post. All other are analogous.
