Some errors
« on: May 23, 2007, 08:43:37 PM »
Hey all, this is my first time posting here and I am happy to add chemicalforums.com to the list of forums that I frequent. I suspect that this may be more of a message for Mitch than anybody else.

The registration process was uniquely intense. After struggling with the captcha system, maybe ten or fifteen times of attempted registrations, it finally agreed that I had typed in the correct letters to the captcha. And yeah, I could read each of them.

Secondly, when trying to update profile information, my session reportedly "timed out"-- yet the "Welcome, user" information appeared at the top of the page, and browsing on to another page in another tab and refreshing a few times made the session timeout error vanish.

Fairly fishy programming going on here. Just thought that this should be reported. Using the Opera web browser. And Mozilla Firefox.

My problems seam to have worked themselves out.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
