I've been doing some major improvements to the Periodic table lately, so you can watch my progress over the next couple days. Jdurg's pictures definately make it look more professional. I've also added a chunck more molecules to the common names page. And ATMyller was given Chemist status. Have a good year everyone, I suspect the forums will continue to be slow until the new school year starts up again.

Sounds good.  And also, I've uploaded a word document containing the origins of the elements' names.  It's in the same place that the pictures are stored in Mitch.
