Evaporation heat for freezing water
« on: July 20, 2007, 08:17:36 AM »
Hello,

I am confused with this question. What happens if water evaporate without boiling? Below is my question. Thank you.

There is zero celcius water in a closed vessel. The vapour is vacuuming with a pipe from vessel. Because of quick evaporation some of water is freezing while other part evaporate. In this case what is the rate of freezed water to first mass?
