What are some properties of ASA that make it work the way it does?  I have a project on the product, and i can't find anything (in plain english) that gives me any useful ASA properties.  If you can divert me to a good site or tell me anything, that would be great.

sorry... ASA is acetylsalicylic acid (an active ingredient in aspirin)

Oh...and i would also like to know how Acetaminophen (used in Tylenol) and Ibuprofen (used in Advil) are produced (i.e. namely the reactions that occur).
