Rhodamine polylysine conjugate
« on: July 26, 2007, 11:42:31 AM »
Hi everyone!

I´m new in this forum an have a question about coupling rhodamine to polylysine via crosslinkers as DCC. Did anyone have a protocoll or experiences on this topic?

Thanks a lot! ;D

What rhodamine do you want to conjugate?  There are many options.  If you want to do the conjugate using the carboxylic acid ortho to the bond with the tricycle, you won't get too much of a result.  You can buy from aldrich or molecular probes rhodamines with coupling groups in positions 5 and 6 that will give you easily the coupling.
