Few Problems I need help on
« on: August 27, 2007, 01:46:50 PM »
Would anyone explain the calculations to these problems?

1. How would you make 150 mL of a 30% (w/w) sucrose solution (FW =d 342.3 g/mol)?

2.  What is the maximum amount of 200 microM MgCl2 solution that can be prepared from 10 mL of 3 M MgCl2?

3.  Starting with Tris Base (MW 121.1 g/mol) and KCL (FW 75.55 g/mol), how would you prepare 500 mL of a solution containing 10 mM Tris and 2% KCl

4.  How would you make 2 nM indole-3-butyric aceitc acid from a 0.05 M stock solution

5.  How would you prepare a 500 mL of a solution containing: (330 mM sucrose, 20 mM KCL, and 50 mM NaCl) from crystalline sucrose, 3 M KCl, and 5 M NaCl?

Thanks in advance.
