A couple of questions
« on: September 06, 2007, 11:08:48 PM »
1) Why doesn't soap work in seawater? It has something to do with the high level of Na+ ions that reduces its solubility right? But I'm not sure about this.

2) Why can u heat and reshape a polymer while other materials just degrade? Is it cause of the strong intermolecular forces that keep the polymer strands together?

Don't hijack threads, google sonochemistry.
