Hi
what is the relationship between ionic strength, I and rate constant,k? Is there any equation that link both ionic strength and rate constant? i have searched wikipedia, and only Debye-Huckle equation that linked both. but the equation is very complicated. Does anyone have simpler version of Debye-Huckle equation that linked both I and k?

I did my experiment for iodide-persulfate kinetic reaction. Is there any chemical database that allow me to check the rate constant for the above reaction. I guess I have made some mistake in the experiment.

And also, is there any other way to check activation energy for permanganate-oxalic reaction? How Arrhenius equation is used to calculate Activation energy where there is auto-catalysis?

Thank you
