potassium manganate
« on: October 04, 2007, 12:15:40 PM »
hi,
Can I have some explanation on, "why potassium manganate is added during sample preparation for mercury analysis"?Is it because it's a strong oxidizing agent?Potassium manganate is not added for other metals analysis, only for analysis to determine mercury concentration, why ?I'm using cold vapour technique for analysis. Thanks in advance
