hey there, for my chem lab work ive been asked a couple of question and i am completely stuck, i was hoping someone could give me insight.

1. why does the solubility of carbon dioxide increase with pH?

2. What effect fdoes temperature have on solubility of carbon dioxide?

any answers or useful links would be great.

I have to hand this in pretty soon

1. What happens to CO2 if pH is  > 7
2. Treat CO2 as vapor. Which physical law has a statement concerning vapor pressure of mixture of liquids?
