I believe, altought I can be wrong, that silicates glasses dissolve in polar solvents, like ethanol. But they do not dissolve considerably, so I believe that you can't see the dissolution.
I fundament my opinion on the fact that water stays at windows, and that those treated windows it doesn't stay. That's because on normal silicate glasses, there is a group -OH binded to the molecules.
So, my conclusion is that yes. It does solubilize. But you can't see it.
