If I need to neutralize a filtrate with sodium bicarbonate, what would the chemical equation for the neutralization reaction be???

An acid base reaction (although it is slightly different than other acid base reactions). For the acid, you can just have H
+
reacting with sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO
3
).
