atomic emission spectra
« on: November 01, 2007, 10:24:49 PM »
We just did a lab on atomic emission spectra where we viewed the emission fingerprint of helium, argon, nitrogen, mercury and the only compound carbon dioxide. I understand the reason emissions are unique but is there a difference between the emissions of a single element and those of a compound?
