Hi need to come up with a solution to extract and convert ephedrine phosphate to ephedrine Hcl from a ephedrine phosphate and NaCl (salt) powder mixture...

Any suggestions would be very appreciated...

How do you make a free amine (basic conditons)?  And what is the free amine soluble in? Then preciptate out the amine by adding HCl.
