Dear SF;

I donnot believe it has any formula!

NITROUS is an abbreviation of N2O (“Nitrous Oxide”) and that is not a net Ion, because it owns not any net “charge”, even if it is written with charges. You may use this times “Wiki” for control.

Maybe somebody has “misused” once more the abbreviation.

Nitrous comes from nitrous acid - nitric(III) acid
