HELP LIMITING REACTANTS AND PERCENT YIELD
« on: November 27, 2007, 09:06:27 PM »
Hello, I need to study for my chemistry exam, and it is about limiting ractants and percent yield. Could someone help me work out this problem?

Consider the following unbalanced reaction:

                P4(s) + F2(g) -----> PF3(g)

How many grams of F2 are needed to produce 120g of PF3 if the reaction has a 78.1% yield?

Balance your reaction.

If 120 g PF3 is 78.1% yield, then how many grams PF3 is 100% yield?
