Partial Pressure Question!?!?!?!?!!
« on: December 03, 2007, 09:33:03 PM »
I do not understand this question at all:

In a gaseous mixture of equal masses of C2H6 and CO2 , the partial pressure of the c2H6 is 22 mmHg. What is the partial pressure of the CO2?

I don't understand how I am supposed to find the partial pressure of CO2, if all I am give is one partial pressure?

You are also given mass.  Think how the amount of gas (mol) relates to pressure.
