Kf of Lauric Acid
« on: December 04, 2007, 03:00:43 PM »
Can someone please tell me if they know they value of Kf, the molal freezing point constant, for Lauric Acid?

The Van't Hoff factor for stearic acid would also be very nice.

Kf Lauric acid is about 4.5 oC / m, this value is not measured, but claculated using the method described here (pdf)

Stearic acid almost doesn't dissolve at all so the van 't Hoff factor is about 1
