C-14 dating
« on: February 18, 2005, 05:40:49 AM »
The half-life of C-14 is about 5700 years.
Why can't C-14 dating methods be used to date object older than 60,000 years?

Because of its relatively short half life. By 60,000 years the amount for C14 remaining is too small for reliable experimental meaurement.
