I am doing a science fair project with carbon dioxide. To make the carbon dioxide I used vinegar and baking soda and I was wondering if there were any other products in addition to the carbon dioxide.

CH3–COOH + Na+[HCO3]– → CH3–COO– Na+ + H2O + CO2
If you dry this you actually synthesize sodium acetate...common General Chemisry experiment.
