a question on stochiometery mixed with gases
« on: February 03, 2008, 11:55:53 AM »
i am given that 2 gases react to form a single gas. i am given the pressure of the reactor before the reaction, and the temp. then the reactor is heated to higher temperature i have to find the new partial pressure of each of the gases.

first where do i use stoichiometry in this problem?

Stoichiometry will let you calculate amount of gases after reaction completion (or at equilibrium).
