When sulfur dioxide dissolves in water, some of it reacts with the water to give a solution called sulfurous acid, traditionally  written as H2SO3.  Write the equations for the successive ionization equilibria of this weak acid.

Acids release H+, so I am assuming H2SO3 is going to lose a H+ which would make it what charge?  It is a polyprotic acid, as it has two hydrogens, so it can then lose another one.

How would this be written?

H2SO3 <-> H+ + HSO3-
HSO3- <-> H+ + SO32-
