Question about atomic mass.

Is the Atomic Mass of O the same as O2? That is if O2 is by itself? Does the same apply to H2?

The atomic mass of oxygen is one half of the molecular mass of O2 because O2 consists of two oxygen atoms.  In other words, because O2 has two oxygen atoms, the O2 molecule has twice the mass of a single oxygen atom.
