Reaction of esters with acids

What happens when you add methyl benzoate and sulfuric acid together?  Couldn't find any examples in book that showed the reaction of just an ester and a acid without any other reagents.

Read something on transesterification or hydrolysis of esters

a color reaction of a comples structurre may develope, in addition to hydrolysis depending on time and concentration.
