Hello everybody! i´want to know how to prepare 500 ml of ammonium acetate solution 25mM. I have a liquid Acetic acid(glacial) and ammonium carbonate.
I don´t make any mistakes so, if anyone can tell me the quantities of this regeants i must use for this, i´ll appreciate so much.
Thanks in advance!!

Start with the reaction equation.

thanks borek!

i´ve prepared the solution with 25g carbonate + 30 ml Acetic Acid and H2O c.s.p. 500ml. Then i tooked 25 ml of this new solution and added H2O to 1000ml. I think the final solution is 25mM in ammonium acetate. That would be correct??
Thanks a lot!

Seems about OK. Note: if you have not controlled final pH you have almost for sure excess of one reactant, so your solution is ammonium acetate plus something.
