Decomposition of dipyridineiodine nitrate

I just did a lab in school on interhalogens, and one of the discussion questions is to postulate on what the decomposition products would be for dipyridine nitrate   [(C5H5N)2I][NO3].  Any help on this question would be great, and also an explanation as to why these products are formed woould be awesome too!!!   Thanks!!!

Pyridine is a weak base and rather not reactive. Only when heating to about 600 C you can expect nitration at position 3 of pyridine.
So you can expect: pyridine and products of thermal decomposition of HNO3
