These are actual excuse notes from parents collected by Nisheth
Parekh, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston

a) My son is under a doctor's care and should not take PE today.
Please execute him.
b) Please excuse Lisa for being absent. She was sick and I had her shot.
c) Dear school: Please ekscuse John being absent on January 28, 29,
30, 31, 32 and 33
d) Please excuse Tommy for being absent yesterday. He had diarrhea and
his boots leak.
e) Please excuse Mary for being absent yesterday. She was in bed with gramps

It was a bright sunny day with very smooth traffic. Unfortunatly I ran out of bread so I went to by some bread. I came to school late and my mother wrote me a letter "Please excuse my son for being late to class due to heavy traffic"

I particularly love the one where they said to execute him and the one where she's in bed with gramps...I burst out laughing in the middle of class when I read it...yes I was not paying attention in my history class while working on projects...lol
