WHAT IS THE PROOF OF SCIENTIST TO SAY THAT THERE ARE (6.02*10 POWER TO 23) IN 12 GRAM OF CARBON?  :P

i sure know this is the definition. but even an electron microscope can only magnify a thing to 1 million times. it is hard to believe that there are 602,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atom in 12 gram of carbon

More like 6.02214179(30) x 1023 - which approximately means that it is something between 6.02214149 x 1023 and 6.02214209 x 1023 atoms. So far nobody told that there are zeros to the end, although one day it may happen (if the kg will be defined in terms of number of atoms).
