did horrible on my first Orgo II exam..

right before the test I was confident enough for a high C maybe even a low B. 
...I get the test back and it's not even close  ::) :o...
Luckily we get to drop the lowest test grade and now I am reconsidering my way of studying.... 
any of you guys had a similar start of the semester?

Aw...bad luck.  Hang in there.  What were the topics covered in this exam, and what are examples of what you got wrong.

we were tested over reactions and syntheses of alkynes, alcohols and ethers...
I don't have the test handy, but when I do I will post some of the problems on here...
