That sounds like it could be useful for something, but why would I want to deflect them unless I'm aiming them somewhere... hmmm... but how do I get a steady flow of electrons? Create an arc maybe?

Like from a CRT? Sure a plain jane electron is good enough to paint moving pictures, but are there bigger ones available that give me more power? On my poosnack.com tech forums, I think I posted my idea for a greasel powered generator, so I should have a couple kilowatts to throw around. If you have a beam of electrons, can you ionize stuff? But isn't ionization taking away electrons from stuff?

You might try asking about electron guns on the science toys message board.
