dissolving sodium bicarbonate

I'm wondering how to dissolve sodium bicarbonate. I have tried the following: water, seltzer water, and vinegar. All in room temperature as well as warm and boiling. I'd like to keep the liquid concentration fairly low. Any suggestions?

What's the problem? You should be able to dissolve NaHCO3 in all three cases - if not, thing that you are trying to dissolve is not a sodium bicaronate.

I think he's asking which would it be more soluble in.

Solubility of NaHCO3 in water is about 10 grams per 100 grams of water. Do not use vinegar because it reacts with NaHCO3. Solubility of NaHCO3 slihghtly increases wth temperatute but over 60 C it thermal decomposition starts.
