What is the difference between something that floats on water, and something that doesn't?  And which one is glycerin more similar to?

Your Hint doesn’t work this time!,    —  because Density doesn’t matter!

It seems you forgot a simple fact:  Glycerine is “full” miscible!:  "Solubility
