Why as temperature increaes does gas solubility decrease??

and why does it have a directly proportional relationship with most solids (however, when temp decreases for solids, solubility always goes down right?)

Because gas particles have a much higher kinetic energy than solids therefore at higher temperatures, it is more likely for the gas to escape out of the solution.
