ph of aqueosus solutions
« on: May 06, 2008, 11:46:56 AM »
Hi i would love some help with this question

for the following pair of aqueous solutions at 298 k, which one has a lower pH?

0.01M CH3COOH or 0.01MNH4Cl

I know CH3COOH does because of an answer key but why? They are both the same molarity so is it becasue CH3COOH has more oxygens? Thanks!!
