Isomers... :)
« on: May 18, 2008, 03:21:49 AM »
Hi all!
We've just started learning about isomers (yr 11) and im quite confused.
How do you know where do place the branches when drawing isomers? Is there some sort of rule? Where do you start when it comes to actually drawing the isomers? I must be missing a step because im finding it hard.

For example: Draw 2 isomers of pentene.

Help would be greatly appreciated
Thank u in advance :D
