This is an electronics question.

How, NOT in Layman's terms do AC and DC currents work, and what are the purpose of using both of them? Be specific please.

You have no reason to question my research. Especially since I asked an analytical question. Do you really expect everyone to brandish there research for every simple question? Think before you post next time.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
