Dear friends..

I have a question related to the covalent coupling of BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) to carboxylate modified microspheres. I wish to follow some protocols related to this but due to my inadequate knowledge in Chemistry, i pretty much dont understand these standard protocols (I am a Physics graduate). My aim is to coat BSA over say, 50 microliters of 2% aqueous suspension of carboxylate modified microspheres (Fluorescent microspheres from Invitrogen molecular Probes). Can somebody help me with the procedure for this? Please dont give me standard protocols directly because I have them myself. I expect a step by step explanation of the procedure. (think like you are explaining the stuff to a first year undergrad student who doesnt have much idea about this).

Expecting some answers.. Have a nice day..

What parts of the protocols are you having trouble understanding?
