acrylamide % purity, GC or LC?
« on: June 02, 2008, 10:13:39 AM »
Can I use GC for getting the % purity of 98% min acrylamide?  How am I be sure that the parameters that I am using will separate the acrylamide from its impurities?  I am using DB-1 column and DB-5 capillary column and FID. Pls help... Is LC applicable?  Thanks in advance....

Thank you.  I browsed the clippings but my sample is 98% pure acrylamide.  I am using direct injection on my gc.  Am I doing the right thing?  The method that you sent is about free acrylamide content. Thanx...
