Alcohols and Amines boiling points?

(1/1)

Jill:
I have this question...

Because nitrogen is less electronegative than oxygen we can predict that amines will have higer? or Lower? boiling points than similar sized alcohols?.

Lower...right?

because they have lower boiling alcohols of similar size because nitrogen atoms are less electronegative than oxygen atoms and so form weaker hydrogen bonds.

Does that sound right?

Edit: edited title for better indexing. Mitch

Mitch:
sounds right
