pH of adding KF to HF
« on: June 03, 2008, 05:56:57 PM »
I'm not sure on how to do this question...

Calculate the pH of a solution made by adding 15.45g of potassium fluoride to 100.0mL of 0.850M HF.

What should I start doing?

Thanks.

I figured it out... just use the buffer equation..

Calculate a molar concentration of KF (assuming volume will not change) and use Henderson Hasselbach equation.
