acid copper plating additives
« on: June 10, 2008, 05:46:26 AM »
Hi, I am studying about acid copper plating additives and that are brightener, carrier and leveller. from this forum brightener I  receive information that was 2-mercaptobenzimidazole... and from my research leveller includes hydroxyethyl methacrylate, vinyl imidazole and trimethylpropane trimethacrylate which I am not sure is it true ???
is there anyone who can give me information about additives of acid copper plating ( electrocopper plating)..or how can I try to find informations about additives ::)
Thanks all of you...

isn't there anyone to reply... ?:o
from my search I found some information that are
*2-mercapto thiazoline which supplies good brightness and level result
*2 mercaptobenzimidazole which is used as brightener for copper plating and level deposit
*bis-(sodium sulfopropyl)disulfide that is brightening agent
* ethenethiourea is used as brightening agent for copper plating
*3-mercapto-1-propysulfonate,sodium salt as brightener in acidic copper baths
*N,N-dimethyl-dithiocarbamylpropyl sulfonic acid, sodium saltis used as a brightening agent in acid copper baths
now where can I start, which chemicals can I use?
can anybody give me information about leveller and carrier additives in acidic copper baths :)
